Camp Oven Cookout 2007

It didn’t take long for the boys to take advantage of Wolf’s swamp to get their cars dirty. While it wasn’t deep it was hard going and when Anton made his debut into the mud he soon learned that you need to keep the power on if you want to maintain that forward motion. Of course that also gave Anton the chance to learn the finer art of using a snatch strap. Darren had the clearance to avoid accumulating reeds under the car but Luke’s car looked like it needed a whipper snipper run over its underbelly.

Some of us opted out when we saw the guys come back out of the swamp and you can smile as much as you like Luke, I don’t think Kathy is going to offer to clean the car.

The single log on the fire was enough to last all night and we had plenty of coals for the 13 camp ovens that provided a tasty array of meals to choose from.
